Looking for a quotation template? Here's how to fill one in online and download a price quote PDF, no Word file needed!
Open the quote generator on thirds.ai, and pick one of the five designs. For monthly work, I like the Retainer quote.
Type your business, the client, and a quote number. Then set the date your offer ends. It prints on the quote, so your client knows when to reply.
Now add the work. Each line gets a quantity, a unit price, and an amount. You can list up to ten lines, then type the tax and the total.
Press Download your PDF, and there's your quote! It's free, with no watermark. Just open it and give it a read.

How do I make a quote PDF?
Pick one of five quote designs, type the client, up to 10 lines of work with their prices, and the date your offer ends, and download your quote as an A4 PDF. A quote typed into a Word file looks like everyone else's, and the total gets lost among the lines. Designers made these five, and one click puts your logo and colours on them. Save the design to a free account, and ChatGPT or Claude can take the job and the price from your chat and send back the next quote, finished. Here's how to make quotes and receipts in your own brand.

Pick a design
Click one of the five quote designs at the top of the form. To see it in your own colours, click Your brand, type your website address, and click Find my brand.

Type the client and the work
Type in your business, the client, a quote number, and the date your offer ends. Add each line of work with its quantity, unit price, and amount. Click Add item for more lines, up to 10. Then type the subtotal, the tax, and the total, because the generator doesn't add them up.

Is the PDF free?
Yes. Without an account, you get the finished PDF free, up to 5 a day. Signed in, a PDF uses one of your 50 free credits. Opening the page never spends a credit.
Can ChatGPT or Claude make the next one for me?
Yes. Save the design to a free account and connect your assistant. Then ask for the next one in a sentence, and the finished file comes back in the chat. You can also make one for each row of a CSV file.
What's the difference between a quote and an invoice?
You send a quote before the work to tell the customer what it will cost. You send an invoice after the work to ask them to pay. When your customer says yes, type the same lines into the free invoice generator to bill them. Free invoice generator.
How long does a quote stay open?
You choose. Type the date your offer ends, and it prints beside the date you issued the quote, so your customer knows when to reply.
Does the quote generator add up the totals?
No. You type the subtotal, the tax, and the total from your books, and they print on the quote as you typed them. Check your sums before you download.
What should a quote include?
Who's quoting, who it's for, a quote number, the date you wrote it and the date it ends, each line of work with a quantity and a price, the tax and the total, and your terms, such as the deposit and when you start. Every design here has a place for each one.
Can I put my logo on the quote?
Yes. Click Your brand, type your website address, and click Find my brand. Your logo and colours land on the quote right there. Save the design to add your own fonts too, and every quote after that comes out in all three.
