Twenty-four people signed up for your monthly meetup, and each one needs a ticket with their own name and seat... so you're typing them in, one by one.
So you connect thirds.ai to Codex just once, and the ChatGPT desktop app, the Codex CLI, and your editor all share it.
In your terminal, you ask for a ticket for everyone on the list. Codex reads the file and shows you the cost first... twenty-four tickets, twenty-four credits.
And that's all twenty-four! Each PDF has its own name, seat, and ticket code, in the same design.

Open a terminal and run the two commands shown here. The second one opens a thirds.ai page.

Sign in there if you need to, and click Allow.

Or, in the ChatGPT desktop app, open Settings, click MCP servers, then Add server. Name it thirds, pick Streamable HTTP, paste the address, and click Save, then Restart. Click Authenticate next to thirds, then Allow.

What can Codex make with the thirds.ai MCP server?
Finished PDFs and images from a design you saved, such as invoices, reports, and post images, with your logo, colours, and fonts on every one. Codex can also build a new design from your HTML, a short description, or a picture, and set up your brand from your logo and colours.
How do I add an MCP server to Codex?
Run codex mcp add thirds --url https://thirds.ai/mcp, then codex mcp login thirds, and click Allow on the thirds.ai page that opens. In the ChatGPT desktop app, add the same address under Settings and MCP servers, click Restart, then click Authenticate. OpenAI's Codex MCP guide, checked 27 September 2026, says the desktop app, the Codex CLI, and the IDE extension share one setup, so you do this once.
Do I need an API key?
Only if you want Codex to make AI pictures to place inside a design. Everything else works after you sign in on the thirds.ai page. The setup guide shows how to add a key as an environment variable, so it stays out of your files.
Can Codex make a file for every row in my list?
Yes. Point Codex at your CSV or spreadsheet and ask for one PDF or image per row, and you get the whole list in one go, each file in your brand.
Can Codex write the integration for my app too?
Yes. Ask Codex to read the thirds.ai API docs and write the code that makes files from your app. The docs cover safe retries, so a dropped call doesn't make a file twice.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. You start free with 50 credits a month, and each finished PDF or image uses one. A file that fails costs nothing, and connecting is free.
On its own, Codex draws something new every time, so your logo, colours, and layout shift from one file to the next. Pick a designer-made template, add your logo and colours once, then ask Codex for the next file, and it builds it from that same design, so every file looks premium.
