It takes a couple of minutes. Grok Bot has no settings form for a custom connector, so you ask your Bot to add thirds.ai in a chat, with a key from your thirds.ai account. On a Cursor Teams or Enterprise plan, your team admin’s connector rules decide if you can use it.

Yes, once you add thirds.ai to it as a custom connector. A Cursor staff answer on the Cursor forum, posted on 30 August 2026, says you add one by asking your Bot in chat, and the server has to be on the public internet. Your Bot then fills your saved thirds.ai design with the new text and photos, so every image and PDF comes back in your logo, colours, and fonts.
What is Grok Bot?
Grok Bot is xAI’s app for AI helpers, called Bots, that work on their own cloud computer with a browser, files, and a terminal. xAI announced it in a news post on 11 August 2026. xAI’s Grok Bot docs, read on 8 October 2026, say it runs on Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android, and that it comes with every paid individual Cursor plan, the Cursor Teams plan, or a linked SuperGrok plan. Those docs don’t list a version inside X or on grok.com.
Can Grok Bot run on a schedule?
Yes. xAI’s Grok Bot docs, read on 8 October 2026, say you ask a Bot to set up a routine with the schedule, the time zone, and where the list comes from, and that closing the app or your laptop doesn’t stop a routine. Each run sends that week’s offers to thirds.ai and brings back one image for each.
Does Grok Bot ask before it spends credits?
It can. xAI’s Grok Bot docs, read on 8 October 2026, say a Bot shows you the action and its details when it needs your approval, and you choose Allow once, Always allow, or Deny. Ask your Bot to show the file count and the credits first, and choose Allow once until you trust the setup.
Can my team admin block thirds.ai in Grok Bot?
Yes. xAI’s Grok Bot team docs, read on 8 October 2026, say Grok Bot follows your team’s Cursor connector rules. A blocked connector shows as Disabled by team admin, so ask your admin to allow https://thirds.ai/mcp.
Do I pay for a file that fails?
No. Each finished PDF or image costs one credit, and a file that fails costs nothing. Listing your saved designs is free, so you can test the connection before you spend anything.
Can I build my own bot on the Grok API instead?
Yes. The Grok API is xAI’s service for developers, and your own code can call thirds.ai through it. The setup guide has a code example that starts with a list-only connection. xAI’s remote tools guide, read on 8 October 2026, says the Grok API can’t stop and ask you first, so your own app has to handle approval and spending limits.
Can I make invoices without Grok Bot?
Yes. Open Batches in thirds.ai and choose your saved invoice design. The table already has a column for each detail in your design, so type or paste one order on each row. Then click Make 12 files if you have 12 orders. You’ll get one PDF for each order.
On its own, Grok Bot draws something new every time, so your logo, colours, and layout shift from one file to the next. Pick a designer-made template, add your logo and colours once, then ask Grok Bot for the next file, and it builds it from that same design, so every file looks premium.
