It takes a couple of minutes, and after that you ask for files in the same terminal where you already work. You need one private key from your thirds.ai account. Google's Gemini CLI MCP guide explains each setting shown here (checked 4 October 2026).

On your thirds.ai API keys page, click Create a key, then Create key. Save the key as THIRDS_API_KEY in the shell that starts Gemini CLI.

Yes, in two ways. The Nano Banana extension for Gemini CLI draws a new picture from a prompt (checked on its GitHub page, 4 October 2026), and each try comes out a little different. Connect thirds.ai, and Gemini CLI makes the file from a designer-made template in your brand instead, so every label or post has your logo, colours, and layout.
Does this work in the Gemini app?
Not with these steps. They're for Gemini CLI in your terminal, so start with our setup guide. Google's help page says the Gemini web and mobile apps can add a custom app by its MCP server address, for personal Google Accounts in the US (checked 4 October 2026), but our guide covers Gemini CLI only.
What if Google moved me to Antigravity CLI?
Follow our Antigravity setup guide instead, because Antigravity reads a different settings file. Google's Gemini CLI site says Antigravity CLI replaced Gemini CLI for unpaid and Google One users on 18 June 2026 (checked 4 October 2026).
Can I make a label or post for every product at once?
Yes. Give Gemini CLI the list, and it makes a label or a post for every product in one go. It asks before it makes each file, so you can check the first one and then say yes to the rest.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes, when your design has a spot for a photo. Give Gemini CLI the photo for each file, and it drops it in for you.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. A free thirds.ai account gets 50 credits a month with no card, and one finished file costs one credit, so you can make 50 labels, posts, or PDFs from Gemini CLI before you pay anything. A file that fails costs nothing.
